If you have an item you would like to return, please read our returns policy and complete the form below to request an RMA number.

RETURNS POLICY

Julia Brendel Limited is a boutique, family run company. It takes a lot of our time to prepare, pack and dispatch your orders. We do not have the capacity of huge well-known companies that hire hundreds of people in their packing warehouses. Therefore, we can only accept returns if your item is faulty. We check each item carefully prior to dispatch, so flaws are rare. We cannot take responsibility for customer’s mismeasurements, colour discrepancies between the online image and your physical item, or a general change of mind.

 

Please do not treat our website as a browsing platform and order more than you want to keep, with the intention of returning part of the order after trying various items at home. We can send you a sample of tablecloth fabric or cushion fabric etc if you would like to check the quality and colour of the product prior to purchase. Please double check your table size when ordering table linen. Our table linen is professionally pressed in a factory and after it has been tried on your table, unfolded, folded, and sent back to us it does not look the same. It costs us extra money and effort to have the tablecloth re-pressed professionally and repacked, so that they are as new.

 

However, if your item happens to be faulty, we offer a full refund or exchange as per our policy. This is subject to the goods being returned in a re-saleable and unused condition with proof of purchase. This policy operates for 14 days from the invoice date. The responsibility for return, postage and packaging is the customers and we would strongly recommend that they are returned using registered mail or special delivery, whilst keeping the postage receipt for proof as all goods remain the customers until they are signed for at our address.

If you wish to cancel an order prior to dispatch, you can do so using your name and order number. Unfortunately, we cannot cancel orders once they have been dispatched.
 

On the rare occasion that we accept a return based on a change of mind, there will be an administration charge of 25% of the order’s total value to compensate for the loss of our time, packing materials, transaction fees and time lost to making the item resaleable. 

 

Please do not simply return the goods. Each return must be discussed and then authorised by us. Otherwise, the goods will not be accepted back by us and will be returned to you at your cost or in an alternative scenario, 25% will be deducted from your refund.

 

Extras:


Certain fibres are not always identical in colour and texture from one batch to another so there may be an occasional, very slight difference. We make every effort to maintain the highest qualities in manufacture, but natural fibres often differ in colour and texture – there may be thinner or thicker strands running through the same weave of the fabric, which is not a fault per se but merely represents the nature of the material. Please contact us if you have any queries.

We cannot offer a refund for fabrics bought by the metre unless they are in some way faulty – it is advisable in certain circumstances to order samples prior to placing a larger order.

All efforts possible are made to ensure a true colour reproduction in fabrics from those seen on our website but this cannot be guaranteed as colours appear differently depending on screens/media source and the like. Again, as previously mentioned, a fabric swatch can be ordered prior to larger orders being placed as we cannot operate a refund or exchange policy for fabrics that have already been cut.
