FABRIC SAMPLES
COPYRIGHTS & TRADEMARKS
To feel the texture and see the real shades of our fabrics we advise to order samples prior to placing orders. The fabric colour and texture may differ slightly from batch to batch or even from sample to ordered fabric, if it is woven from a different batch than the sample. This is the nature of natural fibres and we can not guaranty the absolute match.
We do charge for our samples. The price is based on a non-profit basis and only covers manufacturing and postage costs. If the fabric is ordered as a result of purchasing a sample, the cost of the sample will be then deducted from the total fabric purchase cost.
FABRIC RETARDANCY AND MARTINDALE TEST RESULTS
All our fabrics intended for upholstery have been subjected to and passed the cigarette test. To comply with UK domestic and/or contract regulations, they should however be used with fire retardant interliners. On request, our fabrics can also be further treated to enhance their flame retardancy.
The Martindale Rub Test is a test for the durability of fabrics. In general, the higher the figure, the more suitable the fabric for heavier use. Domestic fabrics often have a rating of 20,000 rubs. All our upholstery fabrics have been tested for abrasion to help choosing the right fabric for the right use. All our rub test results are stated under FABRIC DETAILS.

Order placement via the online shop assumes that you are making an offer to purchase goods as detailed in your order. Whilst we aim to maintain pricing and availability of all goods as much as possible, we retain the right to alter both without notice. Delivery dates are as reliable as we can make them. We use one of the World’s largest courier services but there can be unavoidable delays (weather events as an example). For further information on this, please see the section on Deliveries.
